Our director, Marja Steinberg, has an Elementary Education degree from Luther College. She taught elementary school in the Prior Lake-Savage district for 10 years before staying home with her 3 young children. She has a background in environmental education and a passion for creating learning environments that are welcoming to all and nurture the whole child.
Hello friends! My name is Heidi Brosseau. They call me ‘Ms. Heidi’ at school! I am so excited to be your classroom assistant this year. Some folks already know me from Knecht’s Nurseries and Landscaping, where I’ve been working with plants and people for more then twenty years. I enjoy gardening, camping, all kinds of arts and crafts, and reading and telling stories! I’m really looking forward to contributing to all the learning and fun that make Open Door Preschool such a great place to grow!
Hi. My name is Crystal Henslin and I am one of the teachers here at Open Door Preschool. My family and I moved to Northfield in 2014. I enjoy camping, fishing, and spending time with my family whenever I get a chance. I received my bachelors degree in psychology from UW-La Crosse and have been working with children with special needs and in early education ever since. I can’t wait to meet you!
